Need An Autoresponder?

August 9, 2010 by admin

Wow, it’s been awhile since my last post, like everyone else I’ve been out enjoying this beautiful, although insanely hot summer, not to mention a few home improvement projects going on at the same time, so it has been busy at the least.

I came across a very affordable autoresponder system for those who are on a budget or trying to keep costs down but also understand the importance of utilizing an autoresponder to keep in touch on a regular basis with their prospects. I use my own system, but am often asked on where to get a free or low cost one by many who right now just don’t want to spend $20. a month on an autoresponder. I will say however, it is a MUCH needed tool for your online marketing efforts and very worth the cost, but for those who are looking for something less costly, maybe with less features, or just something to test the waters with, I think this might help you out. So if that’s you, check out Freefollowup.com and see if it is what you are looking for, it says just a one time $4.99 cost and no monthly fees, I do see some ads on the side of the site so it is quite possible it is ad run, meaning you may have ads on the bottom of your emails or view ads when you login to your back office, but hey for $5.00 you might want to check it out.

Pay Per Click Advertising

July 18, 2010 by admin

Many marketers advertising online try a variety of methods from classified ad sites, building a blog, buy website visitors and more. Eventually most of us decide to try our hand at pay per click advertising on google, yahoo, or similiar websites.

Pay Per Click Advertising is a popular method, and if your new to that term, PPC (Pay Per Click) basically means you place a small ad, target it to the keywords your potential prospect would be looking for, and pay a fee that varies every time someone clicks on your ad, whether they read your page or fill out your form, if they click your link, go to your page and then click out, you still pay for the click.

The price you pay varies and is based on a number of things such as how many other advertisers are also vying for that keyword too. There are some great resources on the internet to learn more about pay per click, probably the most popular sites are Yahoo and Google.

I highly recommend reading up on the topic BEFORE going to place your ads and choose your keywords, PPC can add up quickly and take a big bite out of your pocketbook if your not careful, if you don’t choose a comfortable daily budget, choose clicks that you can comfortably afford from the start you can get a big surprise when it comes time for them to bill you. Yikes, years and years ago when I first set up my Google PPC account I picked high targeted keywords that ranged from .75 to 3.00 per click and didn’t set a daily budget, I quickly had $500 being charged to my credit card with little to show for it.

So while PPC can be a great source of leads, be sure to read on the topic first, be sure to choose keywords within your budget and be sure to SET a daily budget of what you want to spend per day. Now if your choosing say a $10 a day budget and bidding on keywords that cost say $3. a click, your not going to get many leads, so keep that in mind.

Once you write your ad (look to see what ads other people are using), choose the relevant key words, most cases you should see about what that click will cost you. There are some good resource tools when you login to your Google Adwords Account, be sure to use the traffic estimator, keyword tool, and the other tools designed to help you get the most from your account. And always be sure to that when someone clicks your link the website page of yours that they go to is designed to capture the leads information, don’t send them directly to your company replicated website.

A great tool from google to help you with keywords can be found here And the best source to get your started is Perry Marshalls Definitive Guide To Adwords.

Extreme Cash Robot

July 13, 2010 by admin

Okay, well it’s been over a week since I posted after the 4th of July weekend as my family and I were off on vacation. And while it was a great vacation, and almost too short as they always seem to be, it was so horribly hot that it made the daytime activities almost not enjoyable.

Anyway, as I come back and am ready to get back to business a great little marketing tool came across my email this morning, and while I get dozens of things like I’m sure most of us do, that I normally don’t take the time to look at, this particular subject line of the email caught my attention enough to scan the email. :)

It said- ALERT – Serious Must for ALL Marketers

And now while I occassionally get emails with similiar headlines, I do try to look at anything that has something about Marketing or Marketing Tools in the subject line.

Well I’m glad I did with because while it’s an affiliate program, I think this great new tool will be such a wonderful tool to so many marketers. While it will be awesome for the newbies to online marketing, it will also be great for those of us that get tired of spending a good portion of our day in front of the computer marketing, a big time saver and a nice little moneymaker to boot.

ECR or Extreme Cash Robot will help you automate 100% your advertising of your home based business, affiliate program, blog or network marketing company online. Great for those again who don’t have time to do all the marketing, those who are new and don’t know how, don’t know where to start, and don’t have a list, plus many working fulltime jobs don’t have the time either! This automated program will automate your advertising of your website for you.

They are offering a special during their prelaunch so I’d be sure to check it out now and take advantage of the great offer that ends I think on July 21st, that’s just around the corner! If you enroll before then you won’t have to pay any future monthly fees, just the one time $198 payment and you can earn $100 per sale as well from everyone you refer to ECR.

You can visit my Extreme Cash Robot website right here iprofitspro.com

With Building a Business Online I’m sure most of us have been to a webinar presentation of our selected opportunity so that not only could we hear about the opportunity but we could have visual slides in front of us as well, alot of us grasp information more clearly when we have visuals, often it helps us remember better too, and me sometimes I need all the help I can get. :)

For some just a plain old conference call works well and their are a variety of free conference call services out there and I’ll cover some of those in a future post.

But if you’d like to share your PowerPoint Presentations, whether it be your own, your companies or your team, there are several great places to do just that and you can do just that.

Some of the best that I like are:

SlideShare – Slideshare offers a free account and is simple and easy to use. Simply upload your powerpoint, input your description, and your contact info. in the profile and your all set with your own link you can now share with others 24/7 so they don’t have to wait on the next company or team webinar.

PowerShow – Is another great one and it too offers a free account, you can share presentations with embedded audio, video, flash and more. So with this you can not only share your powerpoint, but you can narrate it as well so people can listen to the presentation as they are watching.

SlideServe - Another place you can upload and share your powerpoint presentations, embed them in your web pages, share them on social sites and more.

So if you want to be able to share your presentations with prospects, associates, or anyone for that matter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without waiting for a scheduled call or webinar these are great resources to use to share your opportunity.

Blogging and Building 101

Blogging and Building 101

Okay, catchy title huh? Well, I’m definitely not the worlds number one blogging expert, in fact if you read my blog you’ll know that I was a late bloomer catching onto the blogging band wagon… and like everyone else often times struggle on what to put on my blog.

Blogging is a great way to get your message out there, and I know so many people who ask me how to market online, where to start, and what to do, and blogging as I’ve mentioned before is a simple place to start.

Why blogging? More often than not, many building their business online, especially those newer to online marketing or mlm are at loss as to where to start in building their business online. Often times they can’t afford to purchase costly leads, maybe they don’t have tons of time to call people, or any additional money in their budget to use for heavy marketing campaigns or purchasing solo ads, ezine ads, and definitely not PPC, and that makes it difficult other than friends and family on how to grow their business.

But starting a blog is simple and free.

You don’t have to be an expert, you don’t need a domain name, you don’t need to have a hosting account, heck you don’t even need to know html or how to design a webpage to start a blog. With Wordpress.org (my personal favorite) or blogger.com you can get started for free and make a great looking blog.

One of the hardest things when getting ready to set up a blog is what to say on your blog. I mean you may be a great cook, but from a business or opportunity standpoint a blog on cooking probably isn’t going to help you attract people to your business, well unless it’s about cooking. Let’s face it, not everyone is a self proclaimed expert on internet marketing, mlm building, lead generation, html design, network marketing systems, how to build a list, how to market affiliate programs, and maybe had little to no success in mlm to tell people about. (yet) So where do you start if that’s you?

Well if your promoting the #1 A Juice Company, start a blog on that, you could start a blog called, Joe Smith’s A Juice Blog, or better yet use your name. www.yourname.wordpress.com and while our doing that why not go to godaddy and get a domain name with your name and hold on to it until your ready, you just never know, I mean I had plans on doing that for a long time and when I finally got around to it, guess what my name was gone, so I use my name with my middle initial since that was available.

Once your blog is set up choose a nice theme, if your using wordpress when you login to your dashboard you’ll see themes on the left side of your dashboard, and you can choose any theme you like. Make some categories for your blog such as your companies conference call information, product news, compay updates, etc… then start posting.

Then just write (post) just as if you were talking to your best friend or your downline. Write about your companies upcoming events, your conference calls, any news or product updates, exciting facts you may have found about a particular ingredient (be careful NOT to make medical or income claims), welcome and or congratulate new members on your team, give details on your compensation plan, tell people about your great company website and juts have fun with it. Remember you can delete any post and probably right this second nobody is even reading it, so that may make you feel more comfortable in the beginning.

Most of the time you are not going to want to post multiple posts in a day, but with wordpress you can save your posts as a draft, meaning you can write your posts, save them as a draft and publish them later when you are ready. Try to post at least a few times a month to start, maybe a few times a week, if you have alot to say, post every day

As you go along you can start adding widgets, plugins, and links to your facebook or twitter account and more to your blog. The more you post, the more comfortable you get at it, the better your posts become, and before you know it you’ll be attracting people to your blog and start feeling like a blogging pro. : )

Marketing Online? Where To Start

Today I wanted to cover one of the questions I get asked quite frequently and that is…
For someone with few offline contacts and little online marketing experience how do they promote their opportunity, where and how do they get people to contact or sponsor?

I’ll admit sometimes I feel like I’ve been doing this too long and stumble to find the answer because it is never as easy as it sounds and it takes patience, practice, consistency and more often than not money for marketing.

I know I tell everyone the importance of branding, of getting out there and creating their own website whether they are good at html or not really isn’t that important in this day and age with all the great site builder hosted plans out their on the internet such as weebly.com, homestead.com and others. But for many I know this is a daunting task… branding and doing ones own website was something I know I too for many years procrastinated on. Now don’t get me wrong I had plenty of websites, did lots of marketing online, but never got around until late to the personal branding and social media. I figured if what I was doing was working, why change… but you know by doing new things we branch out, learn, and you know what it increased my results 10 fold.

So if your reading this and dragging your feet on setting up your own website like I did, why not start now. Not keen on html, getting domain names and all that stuff… than see one of my previous posts on the sitebuilders and choose one that works for you.

An even simpler method, go to www.wordpress.org and set up a blog, EVEN if you DON’T have anything to write just at this moment. It will come, just start writing about your opportunity, yourself, your team, your products.

Ok, now back to what I was saying so many don’t know where to start to market their opportunity, they don’t have a personal website or blog, and just want to find the best way to get people to their company website or introduce them to their opportunity, so that’s the focus of this post.

1. Classified Advertising Websites, even free classified sites will help you get your feet wet on marketing online and start getting your opportunity and your name out there on the net. There are plenty of good free websites to use such as www.usfreeads.com , do a search on google for mlm classifieds, free classifieds, etc… and you’ll come up with dozens of places to post an ad.

Keep your ad short, captivating, and be sure that your Subject or Headline Entices them to Open your Ad, without exagerrating. : )

2. Search Ezine Advertising (an Ezine is an Online Magazine or even newsletter) and find good ezines in your target market (home based business, mlm, opportunties, work from home) and place an ad for their readership. www.solo-ads.com , www.mywizardads.com, etc… Solo ads are great, as your ad goes to the Ezine Subscribers Solo (By Itself) so you can make your ad longer and have the benefit of having the readers full attention.

3. Try Email Marketing. Believe it or not email marketing isn’t dead and I use to use this method heavily when I first started marketing. www.rent-a-list.com is a good place to start.

4. CraigsList. While I don’t search Craigslist I know alot of people do and while you may not get alot of response depending on your ad from people searching there, it will often times get you good organic search engine results if you use the right key words for your opportunity in your ad.

5. Create your Signature File to go at the end of EVERY email that you send out or respond to. Example:

skype me: rhonda.wagner
www.twitter.com/pureteamwealth
www.facebook.com/rhondalwagner
www.rhondalwagner.com

I’m sure many have better but this one works for me.

It’s all about getting comfortable working online, stepping outside of the box a bit, growing your skill set and as they say practice makes perfect. There are many great articles out there online that you can get ideas from for marketing online.

Many of the above ideas will help you get started, help get your opportunity and your name circulating out there on the internet, and most will work best if you have your own domain and website, but we’ll leave that for another post.

Adding video to your website can be fun and frustrating at the same time for most of us.

Of course one of the most popular methods is by uploading your file to YouTube® and then embedding the code they give you directly on your page where you want your video to appear. But what about those who don’t have a webcam or don’t want to publish “themselves” online but still want to create a video presentation for their website?

Animoto© is a great problem solver for this…. almost anyone with no technical knowledge can create a video presentation using animoto. They offer a free version for you to use and it’s as simple as uploading your photo images (or use theirs), adding video clips you may have on your computer, choose music (theirs or yours) add text, click create and that’s it, you’ve now made your 1st presentation for your site!

I highly recommend the site, it’s simple to use, your completed work looks like your a professional and will help your site be all the rage. : )

Ok, so you are building your business online, have possibly built up a nice team and would like to do a training webinar or perhaps just have everyone together in one room to go over notes and updates rather than trying to call each person individually.

While conference calls are great and there are plenty of free conference call services, such as freeconferencecall.com , freeconferencecalling.com, freeconference.com and plenty of more, sometimes you just need that visual presentation whether it’s to go over a powerpoint presentation, to share your screen to possibly share other websites in realtime or maybe go over getting around in your company back office, this is where webinar services are great.

I’m sure many of you have are familiar with gotomeeting or gotowebinar and have possibly attended a meeting hosted here, but there are many great options out there to try depending on your needs, and some nice free ones as well if you are having a small presentation for say 10 or 15 people.

Mikogo is a nice service, you can easily share your screen with up to 10 people and it has a nice Firefox and Skype add-in as well making it quick and simple to start a session if you use either of these 2 services. You can use a whiteboard, share your screen, transfer files and more with this free application.

Another nice free service is Freebinar You can have custom registration forms, meet with up to 150 people, share your screen, get survey reports and appears to be a great service. I do have to say during my test I was able to login and set up fine, but was unable to share my screen and was prompted to contact support, most likely a firewall issue. However, when disabling my firewall and virus protection for and logging back in and trying again it was still no go. However, the service looks to be a great one if you can get it to work on your system and it doesn’t cost anything to try.

For those needing more features and have more users, Gotowebinar is probably the most well known as Webex, but to me both of these are pretty pricey with Gotowebinar recently changing their pricing structure making those who need more than 100 participants paying a bit much in my opinion.

DimDim is one that I’ve also been using and learning my way around and I think is a very good service in comparison to Gotowebinar, keeping in mind that I’ve used gotowebinar much more in the past so I have a bit of a learning curve within DimDim still but all in all it seems like a service worth giving a shot.

Another one with more participants, lots of features and seems easy to use (but again with this service I had the firewall issue with sharing my screen) is InstantPresenter, they were good with the followup after I enrolled for a free account calling to see if I had questions, but since I was testing a variety of services at a time, I didn’t have time to try to mess with this firewall issue and don’t want to deal with something like that if I had a scheduled session with a group. But you can sign up for a free account, test it out and see if it works out for you and if so it appears they have a pretty good package in terms of features and pricing.

The free services typically limit you more on the number of people you can have attend and or their features, but that is to be expected. However, Freebinar.com did appear to have a good setup and it was free, wish I could have gotten it to work for me. In most cases if you are planning on having a large group consistently and want more features such as recording your webinar, changing presenters, uploading files, etc… you’ll most likely need to go with a paid service such as DimDim or InstantPresenter.

I’m sure there are other great ones out there, but these are the few that I am most familiar with but by searching for webinar service, I am sure you’ll find something that fits with what you are looking for!
