While landing pages or lead capture pages are still a large part of building online and a useful tool, they really haven’t changed much through the years. The biggest trend I see now is pages being very minimal. It used to be they were full of graphics and took long to load, had alot of information, and of course the form to capture the person’s information.
Today the trends seems to simply be a video, whether it be a short one, longer one, or even a full presentation and then the form for information. It makes putting together a lead capture page much more simple and less time consuming for those that do html and all but it also tends to make many of the lead pages we see today look similiar.
In looking, we have Leadpages.net which offers a quick and easy way to design pages, at a cost of around 25.00 a month for their smallest plan, and 49. a month for their Pro Plan. Pricing is good if you a doing alot of advertising and building, but still high in my opinion.
Today I messed around with Landing Page Monkey, which is an online lead page creator, that really is quite simple for most anyone to use. You can quickly type in your text, change your background and text colors, add your video, include your autoresponder code, click save and your done.
You’ll have a url to use right away and also get everything you need if you are hosting it on your own hosting account. All in all for the price ($49.00 annual or $69.00 lifetime) it is a great value, the lifetime plan is pretty much a nobrainer!
Here is the page I created in probably under 5 minutes in just trying to put something together quick, so I imagine we could make it look even better had I taken some time, but it is pretty spot on for the minimalist capture pages of the day! —> http://jvz9.com/c/106705/134482
So it’s not hard to design a page, they’ll even host it for you, and the cost is pretty hard to beat from everything I’ve seen out there. Even if you only make a few pages through time, it would still pretty much pay for itself. This would be one of my top picks of online tools.
